Home Remodel is opening in the Summer of 2023 and is a family owned company focusing on luxury and state of the art home upgrades and custom kitchen/ closet/ bathrooms.
As a Carpenter's Assistant, you will work alongside experienced carpenters to support and contribute to the successful completion of construction and woodworking projects.
Your role will involve assisting with a wide range of tasks, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
1.
Collaborate with carpenters to gather and organize tools, materials, and equipment required for each project.
2.
Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping various materials, such as wood, metal, or plastic, according to project specifications.
3.
Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently under the supervision of carpenters.
4.
Aid in the assembly, installation, and disassembly of structures, including frameworks, cabinetry, furniture, and fixtures.
5.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tool storage and material inventory management.
6.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
7.
Provide general support to carpenters, including holding or securing materials, maintaining accurate measurements, and carrying out routine tasks as directed.
8.
Learn and develop carpentry skills through on-the-job training and experience.
9.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve construction-related challenges.
10.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow in the field of carpentry.
Requirements:
1.
High school diploma or equivalent education.
2.
Previous experience in carpentry or construction is preferred but not required.
3.
Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques.
4.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
5.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
6.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
7.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently under supervision.
8.
Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
9.
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and different project locations.
10.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus.
