Summary:
The Part-time Sports Coordinator position will serve to support the operation of events and tournaments on a week-to-week basis.
This position is responsible for fulfilling the operational needs within the complex with a commitment to ensuring the highest level of customer service.
Responsibilities Assist with facility setup and breakdown.
Perform basic opening and closing procedures.
Support Facility Staff in confirming teams and programs event/tournament schedules on a weekly basis.
Monitors activities on a flexible schedule primarily during evening, early morning and weekend hours including weekday hours and holidays as scheduled.
Serve as a customer service point person actively greeting and assisting visitors.
Complete regular facility walk-throughs throughout the day/event to ensure cooperation of facility rules and facility safety conditions are met.
Maintain the cleanliness of facility including restrooms.
Identify and address any facility issues.
Perform basic maintenance tasks.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Background Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to work independently.
Some physical activity in all weather conditions Positive attitude and strong work ethic Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
