Your role at Samsonite:
Samsonite is seeking an HR Coordinator to facilitate HR processes and provide administrative support.
This includes record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS support while exposed to all areas of human resources.
You will work on-site 4 days per week with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week.
HR Administrative Support Creates and maintains compliant personnel records while ensuring confidentiality.
Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Assists with employee onboarding program.
Assists with planning and execution of employee events and trainings.
Supports and maintain the SharePoint site.
Crafts and delivers benefit and employee program communications.
Supports other projects and performs other duties as assigned.
HRIS Administration Supports HRIS admin for the shared services.
Processes new hires, terminations, and transfers in the system.
Generates and analyzes recurring HR metrics and ad-hoc reports such as Headcount, Turnover, and Roster reports as needed.
Creates/updates positions, cost centers, locations, and departments within the system.
Responsible for data entry of highly detailed information into multiple databases.
Acts as secondary contact for employees for system questions to ensure satisfactory resolutions and escalate as needed.

years Human Resources experience BS/BA in related field required.
Good functional understanding of core HR terminology and current best practice.
Good attention to detail; must be precise with data in all systems.
Ability to train HR systems effectively at all levels of the organization.
Willingness to challenge status quo and orientation toward process improvement.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
