Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and maintain equipment, electrically and mechanically, in support of production Perform minor and major repairs as required (e.g., motor replacement, valve replacement, encoder calibrations, etc.) Basic electrical, wiring and motor repair when applicable Ordering and installing of machine parts Repair and install safety guards on equipment Correct issues that may occur during the shift Inspect machinery in order to detect future failures Maintain activity logs EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Ability to read technical manuals, electrical and mechanical prints Working knowledge of diverse advanced machinery (e.g., thermoformers, extruders, etc.) Understanding of and willingness to follow and enforce set procedures Adhere to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear) Physical stamina and strength experience with machine control a plus High school or equivalent (Preferred) Programmable Logic Controllers:
