Title: MDM Architect
Location: Mansfield, Massachusetts
The MDM Architect function implements technical solutions which provide Master Data Management solutions for the company. This position works under general supervision and designs, develops, implements and continually refines MDM solutions. Provides detailed specifications from which specific business solutions are implemented, including considerations for regional variations, flexible rule configurations, workflows for collaborative tasks, security and performance. Responsible for completing several aspects of an MDM process implementation including software installation, testing, debugging, and documentation. Participates in planning processes where application objectives are determined and provides input on processes to resolve complex problems. May interface with departmental managers to assess the need for new or enhanced application capabilities.
The position reports to the IS Manager, Enabling technologies and will be part of a technical team of application analysts and architects responsible for supporting new or existing solutions for various Group business functions.
Essential Functions:
Works closely with business analysts from multiple business domains to translate their business requirements into fully supportable MDM solutions.
Translates conceptual business requirements into detailed technical requirements documents.
Develops implementation plan for MDM solutions.
Contributes to, follows and enforces established standards, best practices, quality assurance procedures and SDIM Methodology
Executes projects to meet objectives on-time and within budget
Manages development resources, assuming responsibility for the delivery and quality of components
Contributes with other Enabling Technologies team members to define an integrated, strategic technology roadmap.
Build, shape, mentor and lead a global high-performance technology team
Helps develop multisourcing strategy to augment internal staff with external consulting services
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree but Masters in Computer Sciences Preferred
Minimum of 7 years of IS experience, including 2 plus years in an architectural role
Proven track record of delivering on large scale MDM projects is essential
Deep understanding of the underlying platform supporting the MDM environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
