A Day in the Life
Reporting directly to the Director Supply Chain Operational Excellence MITG you will, drive problem solving adoption by leading DMAIC / A3 problem solving projects engaging in Medtronic Operating Systems (MOS) and workflow maturity assessments. You will lea pan MITG and Medtronic Strategic Projects for the Supply Chain Planning function with involvement in Value Stream Mapping (process optimization) activities for MITG Supply Chain. You will educate Supply Chain personnel on OpEx tools and principles with responsibility for Contract Sterilization relationships, driving standardization and improvements in service, cash flow and cost metrics. You will assist the Supply Chain Operational Excellence team in compressing end-to-end product flow, enhancing visibility to meet customer requirements whilst implementing Standardized Work and Best Practice Sharing/Adoption.
You will:
  • Lead Supply chain deliverables for pan MITG projects (example Enterprise Excellence, Simplify for Success, IBP, S&OE, SIP & SWiMM)
  • Sterilization (develop standard work playbook for analyzing capacity and effectively manage sterilization operations & input to sterilization strategy aligned to network)
  • Drive Continuous Improvement in MITG Supply Chain by: implementing Supply Chain Best Practices & Standard Work Playbooks
  • Assist in optimizing network post-manufacturing (End to End Visibility: Sterilization and Transportation) enabling flexibility and lead-time compression
  • Manage Kaizen events focused on process improvement and standardization
  • Train and certify Six Sigma / LEAN Candidates
  • Build forum to increase collaboration between different supply planning groups and share best practices
  • Develop and maintain best in class planning processes, onboarding tools, training and development programs.
  • Key leader in the development of the end to end planning process.
  • Develop and maintain hopper of process improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to MITG Supply Chain policies
  • Minimum 25% travel - Flexible location.

PRINCIPAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Distribution Centre (DC) Operations, GSC OpEx, MDT Supply Planners & Management, Replenishment, CRP, Manufacturing, Project Management, Global Supply Chain, Shared Services a nd IT
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, S&OP, Supply Planning or Materials Management with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
Nice to Have
  • APICS certification CPIM / CSCP
  • OpEx Six Sigma Green/Lean certification
  • A3/DMAIC problem solving principles
  • Competent in ERP Systems namely MRP,DRP, JIT, S&OP processes and methodologies (SAP experience an advantage).
  • Project Management experience / qualifications
  • People Management experience
  • Medical device or related industry experience
  • High level of familiarity with Microsoft office suite.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
