MITG (Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) is seeking a Senior Pricing Improvement Specialist to drive operational excellence and outstanding customer service to internal business partners regarding pricing discrepancies. This is an exciting opportunity to lead an important initiative and collaborate with Field Sales, Customer Operations & Insights, Finance, leadership, and other internal departments.

A Day in the Life
  • We offer you a position where you will be a dynamic contributor, inspire innovation, and drive continuous improvement for MITG shared services customers by:
  • Working independently under limited supervision to determine and develop approach to pricing solutions.
  • Contributing to the resolution of pricing issues, through building relationships and consensus to reach agreements on assignments.
  • Making improvements of processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the pricing process.
  • Communicating with senior internal and external customers and vendors to provide world class customer service and quality assurance support regarding pricing discrepancies.
  • Working within a cross-functional team to accurately research, understand, and resolve pricing issues.
  • Providing a high level of professional support and partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifying root cause, trends, issues, barriers and knowledge gaps in an effort to reduce discrepancies and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting with the research, preparation and presentation of quarterly business reviews of # of cases, root cases, corrective actions taken and responsiveness time.
  • Understanding and adhering to FDA regulations, SOX compliance, and department standard operating procedures.
  • Aligning objectives/goals with the organization's strategic direction.
  • Assisting in Medtronic objectives to decrease days sales outstanding (DSO) and discrepancy or exception orders.
  • Demonstrating your impact by enhancing quality, improving efficiency, increasing growth / revenue, reducing costs, and improving the customer experience.
  • Demonstrating a high level of ownership, being a self starter, and ability to drive results.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4+ Years in supply chain, marketing, global pricing or analytics OR Masters Degree and 2+ Years experience in supply chain, marketing, global pricing or analytics

Nice to Have
  • Systems knowledge: Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Able to work flexible schedule as business needs dictate
  • Proficient with pricing issue processing, invoicing, contracting, etc.
  • Business Objects knowledge
  • Demonstrated high critical thinking, conflict resolution, and independent working skills
  • Demonstrated high ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with customers/patients/business partners to answer questions and to resolve issues according to department protocols and requirements
  • Demonstrated high ability to collaborate within a changing team environment
  • Proven ability to produce consistent, detail oriented, quality work
  • Experience working with technical information
  • Experience working in medical device or healthcare industry

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
