Senior SAP IT Manager - Manufacturing

CAREERS THAT CHANGE LIVES The Senior IT Manager role will provide global leadership and direction to the Manufacturing IT team primarily supporting SAP and extended systems.  The position is responsible for the development, configuration and execution of the Make IT systems.  This position requires a strong coordination of efforts across our internal business units and geographies through working closely with IT peers, IT leadership, and business leadership personnel.  This role is critical to the overall success of the Global IT Manufacturing ERP team.   A DAY IN THE LIFE o Provide leadership, through strategic direction and active engagement to align the Global Make IT functions and priorities with Global IT and business partners. o Direct the planning and utilization of resources related to the SAP Make team and extended systems team. o Active partnership and collaboration with other IT and business leaders globally to drive employee engagement and achieve optimal outcomes. o Provide input to senior management in long-range departmental planning concerning improvements in operational efficiencies. o Manage to budgets (department/team/project), cost estimates, and project deadlines. o Provide leadership, management, and development of the department employees including performance management, individual development planning, succession planning, employee communications, and positive working environment to ensure high productivity, employee engagement, and performance. o Ensure smooth transition of solutions from proof of concept to pilot to production to ensure key objectives are met. o Engage and participate in outside user groups and forums to understand developing industry changes related to technology and support platforms. o Ensure that Medtronic's systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with Medtronic's Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as best Information Protection practices. o Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of software and database management. o Ensure validation documentation follows the Medtronic guidelines based on the Medtronic Systems Compliance Methodology (MSCM) o Some travel may be required MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications) o Bachelor's Degree o 7+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of IT experience with an advanced degree o 5+ years of experience leading/managing direct(or indirect) employees in a matrixed organization o 5+ years working in an SAP environment o Manufacturing IT leadership experience o Demonstrated ability to work across many levels of an organization, from VP to non-exempt staff o Business focused leadership with ability to turn business process requirements into IT deliverables o Strong results orientation (driving to deadlines, financial targets, project goals, etc.) o Experience in a manufacturing ERP environment regulated by the FDA o Excellent presentation skills including the ability to translate technical information into business terms 18000LG3

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
